WIND TUNNEL DEMONSTRATIONS
Eric Shiffer will be conducting demonstrations using the the large wind tunnel located in the Champaign Aviation Museum Hangar. There will be 3 on Saturday, and 2 on Sunday. Check the event schedule for times.
THE WRIGHT EXPERIENCE
1902 WRIGHT GLIDER
This replica 1902 glider will be on display. It was constructed by students from Russia (Ohio) schools. The students flew the glider at the site of the Wright's original experiments - Kitty Hawk.
1903 WRIGHT ENGINE
We will have a replica of a 1903 Wright engine on display. It will be started and run at various times during the day. Owner and Builder Terry Hesler will explain the engine and the story behind it. | WRIGHT SIMULATOR Experience the thrill of actually flying in a replica of the Wright B Flyer—the first mass-produced airplane in the world.
